The joy of eggs.

This picture seriously says it all. Who knew eggs could be so thrilling?

I volunteer at a local indoor park in town to get a free membership to an awesome (just like the name implies) indoor park.

In Oregon it rains a lot. Like A LOT. So we have a lot of lovely parks around, just not that many opportunities to play on them. Indoor park solves this problem. It is a large auditorium like space filled with toys, climbing structures, bikes, kiddie cars, scooters, toys, an eating area and most importantly...a roof over our heads.

By volunteering, I receive a free membership to the park, but also am in charge of planning and running 4 parties a year: Harvest, Holiday, Valentines and Spring. Today was our Spring party. Complete with 3 spring crafts (fluffy paper plate bunnies, cup-cake liner daffodils, and Easter Egg Mosaics), a snack table and 2 Easter Egg hunts. Baby K was in heaven. As if the eggs weren't cool enough, when you opened them there was candy inside! Who knew??

I spy some chocolate on a bottom lip...

Last year Baby K had an Easter Egg Hunt at Little Beavers when I taught the infant/toddler class there, but this year he definitely understood the concept a little more.

Easter Egg Hunt 2012

Oh and a shout out to a local resale shop, Mother Goose. That's where I got those awesome new shoes for Baby K. Seriously red shoes are the best! And $4 is even better. And no, I am not being paid to advertise for Mother Goose. I've always wanted to say that on my blog, makes me feel like I am having to turn down offers for advertising on this awesome blog, because that's how cool I am;)

Blurry kissing pictures, in the moment, are the best.

*Edited to add video that is now working ;)

Happy Spring and happy almost Easter!

Ohhh That was so cute, what a great opportunity to work their and have a pass. The best of both worlds because I'm sure it doesn't seem like work. He is just so cute and a Lucky boy to have you.
