2 Days!

First off let me preface this by saying, I HATE posting pictures that I took on my phone, on my blog. I really like to force myself to get my camera out and take "real" pictures. But unfortunately, I have misplaced/lost my charger to my camera and when I tried to buy a new one at Radio Shack the other day, they informed me that Sony creates difficult chargers to find anywhere but possibly FRY's or online. So I was super bummed to realize I am NOT going to have any "real" pictures of the Christmas season this year (Insert super duper sad face and pout).

But thank goodness that I do have an iPhone to be able to capture some of these moments anyhow.

We got our Christmas tree a few weeks ago at a local Christmas Tree farm. There was still an icy, snow covering the ground when we went out and the Christmas Tree farm happened to be on top of a bit of a hill. So, we tried to drive up the hill,  but slid back down. We had a brilliant idea (from Jason's dad) to try and drive backwards up the hill, but that didn't work either. Finally we gave it one last go and drove around the block picking up speed. IT WORKED! We all cheered when we made it to the top and got some traction on dry cement. We might've had a little magic flying power from our very own Rudolph in the backseat...

We walked around and found the perfect tree: a 6 foot grand fir. Baby K helped daddy saw it down.

 

While Norah took a nap in the front pack with mommy.

 

We brought it home and decorated it and it was a success!

 

I am feeling a bit behind. I still have to wrap over half our gifts, still have unfinished Christmas cards that need to go out as well as more thank you cards. It has been a really fun season this year though. Norah and Baby K make it the best Christmas yet!
