My Love, My Valentine

My weekend started out fun and Valentines Day just made the week all the more special. On Saturday I drove up to my parents house to have my dad look at my car. It needed lots of repairs and he was the man to do it. He tore it apart and we started to realize that it was not going to be finished by Saturday night. So I spent the night and had time with my sister, Jennifer (who I hardly get to spend time with anymore) and parents. My car did end up getting fixed because my dad is a rockstar and a genius to boot. Thank you dad.

My weekend just got luckier as my best friend went into labor Saturday night and had her precious little boy Sunday afternoon. I was still in town to be able to go and visit. She had everyone in suspense about name that they had chosen and we soon were introduced to Brogan James O'Halloran. Oh how holding a newborn can make you want one oh so desperately!

On Monday night we decided to take trip to Old Navy to buy Baby K a stylin' new outfit for Valentines Day. He rocked his shirt and new shoes... He is the most stylish baby I've ever met!

Shirt: Old Navy $5

Shoes: Old Navy $7

We surprised Jason at work with a coffee and he surprised me with a yellow rose!

I made Jason's favorite Chicken Pot Pie for dinner and we exchanged cards and gifts.

Jason had special ordered these chocolate dipped strawberries for me and they were beautiful and delicious! Thank you darlin!

I gave Jas the practical gift of coffee. Starbucks gift card.

It was a beautiful week and will continue to get better as we head to our annual church marriage retreat this weekend. Little man is of course coming with us and at least we will have a bigger bed to all three share! he he!

Happy ALMOST Friday!!
