Searching for treasures this week

So... the picture below, yes, I wish that was my husband and I because I am totally jealous of how awesome this picture turned out! But alas, it's not. It's my brother and sister-in-law and isn't it amazing?? By the way, it is not even edited and it was taken on my phone! Super proud of the way it turned out.

Last week was crazy busy! We had a bible conference about an hour away and so we had a lot of driving back and forth and a lot of late nights, but we made it through and it really was life changing. It encouraged me to bring things back into focus. Pray more, read my bible more and do something for God.

The week was also a great time to get caught up with friends that live far away and meet new friends and new people. So if any of my conference friends are reading this, "HI!!" A lot of exciting things happened this week as well. We went and looked at a duplex that is only $25 more than we pay now for our apartment. It is 3 bedroom, 2 bath and has a huge backyard and garage. We put in an application so please pray that we get it... I would love to have a house with a yard and a little more space! We got a call from our agency to show our book to a birth mother, and I also got another job watching another little boy twice a week. It's been quite an eventful last few days.

Jason's brother and wife came over last night for a night of baseball (well sort of), and brownies and ice cream and Risk. I actually played Risk! All this time I thought it was a "Man's game." But I actually really enjoyed it!

So a new week begins tomorrow and I am sure it holds all sorts of treasures. Excited to begin my treasure hunt!

Hope you all have a lovely week!

OH I love ALL the pictures. Sounds like another great conference. Our new Pope is into really serving others which I think is great. He sets such a good example and is so humble. I have heard others saying he gives them food for though about serving others in their lives.
