All in a weekend

We started off our weekend with a trip up to see my parents and sister where they are camping and celebrate my sister, Jen's, 37th birthday! We brought bikes and camp chairs and I probably ate too much Strawberry Shortcake (in fact I know I did), but it was really delicious. Sometimes it's so nice just sitting and talking with family and not really "doing" anything except enjoying each others company. This kids played and we took a walk to the campground park and played. It was a really nice time.

Jennifer was spoiled with a new watch, photo albums, coffee cups, and a breakfast date with me the next day!

And don't forget the Strawberry Shortcake...

Is your mouth watering yet? Here. Have some!

Papa had time to catch up with the grandkids (all 7 of them)..

And Nonnie had time to play with the kids on the playground.

The next morning we celebrated Jen (and our appetites) once again at Wildwood Cafe. This place is a local, hole in the wall, vintage cafe with most freaking delicious food you can ever think of! If you're ever in McMinnville, Oregon you should make this part of your destination.

See what I mean? Cool.

And they even served Koa Bear, bear pancakes. Thrill of a lifetime right there.

We ended our afternoon with my best friends, daughters first birthday. Aria is a little doll and I cannot believe it's already been a year. Time flies. Oh and that tutu she's wearing, no big deal, Jaime just made that in her spare time. Sheesh, what CAN'T that woman do??

I am hoping there will be many more fun filled weekends like this ahead! What is your weekend looking like?

Firstly oh my goodness did that strawberry shortcake look amazing! Those strawberries looked PERFECT! And wow she made that tutu?! It is adorable! We're cleaning and organizing this weekend, trying to get life back to normal after we lost the baby. Also going through old clothes that we no longer want to see if a friend wants them or if we should donate them. Trying to stay busy to get through today! :)
