Private home study AND garage sale!

We are finishing up our private home study through the agency this Friday! This is the part where the social worker comes to our house to view it, interview us more and finally give us the final approval to be able to adopt independently.

Although we have done this before through the state for foster care, this is a little different and we are a little nervous. Please pray for us and for the social workers to approve us!

It will be taking place this Friday, October 28th between 12 and 3pm.

*Also, for anyone local, my mom is doing a garage sale adoption fundraiser next weekend. If anyone has anything they would like to donate to this cause leave me a comment! We are hoping to sell some big items and anything would help!

HI, Sorry for the above post mistake.. I just want to say GOOD LUCK!! I am not from your area but want to say good luck with your sale and your adoption check. I am wondering if it goes through are you able to adopt Baby K? He is one handsome little miralce. I only read your blog but I send precious wishes to you everydayhoping he can be yours. He looks like a perfect match, I would have thought he was yours if I had not read different. I believe that sometimes they should go on the love that is given not the price that they make you pay. If you can give him your life and love him like no other what more will he ever need? I hope to hear good things when I read your blog after Friday. Thank you for allowing me to be able to follow your Precious Blog. Tammie

Naomi, have you heard about the foster care training in Albany on Sat. Nov. 5th from 9-12? It covers life long adoption issues. I think I will sign up. I know you can get credit from attending trainings outside your county if you are interested....it would be great to meet you! We could even meet a 1/2 hr earlier and get coffee first.
