8 reasons I have not blogged (and other interesting things)
Hello! I have no clue if anyone is still out there in the Blog world. Is it even cool to blog anymore?? Who knows, but i have 15 minutes of quiet and a tiny ounce of creativity left in me and I just took a 20 minute power nap (it was curled up on a cold toy box while the Roomba whirred loudly and announced that something was jammed in its wheel, but hey, it was a nap.
So here I am.
Y'all life has been insane. I took a year off of social media, but man, I miss being able to reflect back on my life and my kids. Seeing the tiny baby pictures of Norah, the sweetest toddler smile of Koa and Clark's adoption day... whoooo, brings tears to my eyes.
So here goes:
1) We have twins: probably the main reason I haven't blogged in so long is that in June while I was camping at the beach with my sister, we received a call from DHS to take twin girls due to be born in July. Long story short, we said yes.
2) My life since then has been a lot of coffee, bottles, diapers, snuggles, and LAUNDRY.
3) That can be a reason all on its own. LAUNDRY (sorry I don't have a pretty picture so here is a cuter one instead).

4) In August, Jason's brother Tyler married his lovely bride, Shalanda.
5) We started Homeschool/ Baker Web Academy (for another post- um that might never happen if I'm honest).
Well, the twins are crying now and 4 out of 5 are awake, so I am hitting publish before this post disappears into the archives of Christmas pasts with dust and spiders and moths.
So long, say hi in the comments and tell me how your 2018 has been!

6) I turned my dining room into a classroom and learned Magic Erasers come in handy for dining room tables.
7) I learned that Homeschool is the very best option for my son after public school failed. I also learned that he learns the best when he is able to work with his hands and therefore TimberDoodle has been amazing for him!
8) And last but not least, IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR! So we have been busy decorating, buying a Christmas tree, making hot cocoa on a daily basis (it basically doubles at snack on some days), doing Christmas crafts, shopping and practicing for the kids Christmas play.
Well, the twins are crying now and 4 out of 5 are awake, so I am hitting publish before this post disappears into the archives of Christmas pasts with dust and spiders and moths.
