5 and a half weeks to a forever family!

I have started about a million projects today including cleaning out bedroom closets, painting a vintage vanity (well actually Jason did that), making homemade Pinterest carpet stain remover and scrubbing spilled bottle milk stains out of my carpet and taking out 5 trash bags full of junk to Goodwill!

All the while my 14 month old is following me around either pulling out outlet covers and saying "owie" over and over again- because good mommies teach their babies that outlets are owies and they obediently never touch the outlets again. OR he is pulling all of the things I am trying to give to Goodwill and saying "mine" "mine" as he carries them off to hidden places.

It is HARD WORK when a baby is going to be added to your family in 5 and a half weeks.

Wait. Did I just say that out loud?? Yes I did because it's true!!!!!!!

We have been matched and a little bundle of joy is coming next month just in time for the pumpkin patch visit:) The gender will be a surprise and we don't have any names set in stone yet. Jason and I are thrilled to start our forever family and of course as always we hope baby K will be added to it also. Can't wait to meet the little one and share millions of pictures, memories and milestones with you all!

YAHHHHHHH!!!! I have been checking back daily to hear the Good news. I had a great feeling that this was the baby that was in the stars waiting for the perfect parents. (and of course a big brother). I was also so happy to see that you wrote that you are still hoping that Baby K will be yours forever. I have always wondered if that was a possibilty that he could be your forever son? What an amazing family that would be to have your 14 month old BIG brother to show your new Forever baby all that you and Jason have taught him. CONGRATULATIONS to you both. I will be looking forward to seeing pictures of your new addition to your family that you have prayed so hard to have. There is nothing more precious to wait for than your baby to be in your arms.

How exciting!! Congrats! :) Can't wait to see those pumpkin patch pictures!!! I've been reading your blog for awhile....came from Patti's blog. We're adopting too (two little girls from Russia) - and we live just south of you guys in Eugene. Once we're all settled with our girls and your family is all settled - we'll have to meet up for play dates with all the littles!! :)

I have goose bumps just reading this! I am SO excited for you guys. I hope Baby K gets to be apart of your forever family too :) You are such a special couple. If you still need financial help will you put up a donation thing again, so we can all help pitch in the remainder for the next 5 weeks?

Congratulations to all of you, fantastic news! I've been stalking your blog for days hoping for some good news. I suffered from infertility and relate so much to how amazing a feeling it is hearing that you will finally be a Mommy. It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it!

Never have commented but have been following your story for a while now. I am so EXCITED for you, Jason, and baby K! I will be sending prayers and positive thoughts your way! What an awesome outcome to a beautiful story. On another note, someone once told me that cleaning with a kids in the house is like trying to fix a leaky faucet while the water is still running. lol. :) Have a beautiful day and congrats again. God is Good!
