As we speak.

It's been three months since I've sat down to write! And even my last post was more of a "check in" versus a "getting everything out of me." Know what I mean? Sometimes just as I start typing, I literally let out a long sigh, like "finally I can let out all of those pent up words from the last few months just begging to get out!" So here I go. SIGH.

Now I am ready. We have been busy! Oh so busy! Taking leaps of faith and going on to better and bigger things.

HE: Is going into his last term of his 1st year of nursing school in a few weeks! He is still working full time and even though he is crazy busy, ALWAYS makes time for the kids. The other day he had a break between two of his classes and he drove home (about 20 minutes) just to pick Koa up for a date. See what I mean? Sweet. We recently made him a little office nook upstairs for studying, with a desk and office chair. Besides school and work full time, he's been teaching Children's Church and playing on the worship team. I'm so proud of him. He is my rock and hero!

He: is getting soooo big! Waaaaaah! He went to preschool for a winter term and learned lots of letters and sounds. He will be 4 in three months! He loves anything creative;  painting, coloring, drawing, gluing, cutting.. you get the idea. Pickle ball is his sport of choice for the future.. what is pickle ball?? He is so excited about helping me plant the garden in a few weeks and he can't wait to go to San Fran- KIS-Co. I love him so much and can't believe he is growing up before my eyes.

She: is our wild, crazy, lovable, sweet, sassy, crazy, dramatic, funny, beautiful, smart little girl. She is now 18 months and so full of life. These last few months she has had a hard time health wise. We've been dealing with food allergies, ear infections, temporary hearing loss (due to fluid in her ears), and of course all the skin rashes and itchiness that goes along with food allergies. We've been referred to an allergist in April and she has tubes surgery soon. With all her little body has been through in the past few months, I'm surprised she's been handling it all this well. Her hair has darkened some, and her eyes are still chocolate brown. She's only 20 lbs and in the 5th percentile for weight. Just an itty bitty little thing except that she eats a TON! And of course two of her favorite foods are the things we think may be the culprit of her allergies. :(( But overall, this girl is a ball of sunshine. A busy and dramatic ball of sunshine, but she is definitely here to brighten our days!

I: have been staying busy. Babysitting 4 days a week and working to grow my business of selling jewelry and baby shoes. I am so excited to possibly be selling my baby shoes in a downtown shop. I recently designed some beaded bar necklaces to add to my shop and have a few more designs up my sleeve. Visit my shop if you care to stop by at anniesnestdesigns.etsy.com. Koa's preschool was a co-op this last term and so I spent some time working in his classroom and helping out with snack and activities. I have also spent much of my time taking Norah to doctors appointments to try and get to the bottom of her allergy issues. I was recently inspired by our pastors sermon to start an acoustic band for the summer and do some downtown outreaches... Also, I am greatly looking forward to one whole week off and our road trip to San Fran! I haven't been since our honeymoon (almost 7 years ago!). I am most looking forward to seeing the Golden Gate Bridge.

Glad to be back at writing again. And hopefully I won't stay silent too long!

 Hugs-Naomi
