My Love, My Valentine

A picture from Pinterest, 4 letters from Joanns and a bottle of red spray paint was all it took to inspire this photo shoot. I bought the supplies and found a brick wall downtown to snap some photos! Baby K, as usual, was a perfect model and tolerated my craziness quite happily!
 
 Since Jason and I both will be really busy on Valentines Day (and I am really impatient), I decided to give him his V-Day present from K and I early. I put four of these photos in a frame and had baby K carry it out to Jason. He told him "Happy Day" and showed him the pictures! My heart melted!

This little man had surgery this morning to get tubes in his ears to help stop ear infections. He was such a trooper! He was a little grumpy at first (who wouldn't be at 6:30 in the morning) but he quickly warmed up to the nurse and even let her carry him back to surgery.

All went well and he is on a quick road to recovery!

It's hard to believe that this was Baby K one year ago! I have to confess that I feel so shocked/relieved/surprised that he is still with us but I am counting my blessings everyday.

And here he is now, suddenly way more grown up and independent. I thought there was no way I could love him any more last Valentines, but now I find that I am falling more and more in love with him everyday.
