Home Study Baby!!

Yeah that's right! Our home study is now officially finished!! Sheeesh it has taken awhile! We met with Catholic Charities for the first time back in May and now in January we are home study approved!

This means we have two year from the sign off date (December 16, 2011) to adopt a baby.

This may sound odd, but we are actually thinking about advertising our desire to adopt. Many people all over the United States have found this way to bring home a baby. I am so glad that I am able to document our journey to adopt in this blog because I believe it will be such a miracle to read it later on.

Many of you have asked about adopting baby K. We, of course, would love to, but his family still has awhile to work to get him back. This is a long waiting game and it can be hard, but we are so thankful and lucky to have him with us for the time that we can.

Thank you to all who have been praying for us... Please keep following our journey to see one (of the many to come) happy endings.

Congratulations! We are also foster parents in Oregon. :) It's been the hardest and best thing we've ever done. When it comes to fostering and adopting I'm so glad to know that God sees the big picture and He has our best in mind.

I'm excited to see who He has picked out for your family!!!

Naomi, you cannot imagine how excited I get each time I see in my inbox "A Baby Sent from the Stars". And this morning I was even more excited when I read your WONDERFUL NEWS!!! Sometimes I get upset with God because He seems to work ever so slow but then I remember He knows so much more than we mear mortals and is always thinking of the best for us. You and Jason are giving Baby K a great foundation for love and stability. Keep up the good work in forming a loving, happy, and healthy little man.

Naomi,
Congrats!! FINALLY!!

I pray for you both, everyday-

It would be wonderful to document your journey....it's like a pregnancy journal, without the weight gain---the love is absolutely the same ;)
